BPCL Craftsman RECRUITMENT MAY 2013

BPCL Mumbai Refinery invites application for appointment to the following post:

• Post Craftsman (Grade-7)

Mechanical 6 (Gen-1, OBC-4 , ST-1)
Instrumentation 4 (GEN-2, OBC-2)

Qualification :-Diploma in Engineering (Full time course) in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electronics with
minimum qualifying marks of 60 % in aggregate of all semesters / years for General /OBC
candidates. Relaxable to 50% for SC/ST candidates.

Experience:- Minimum 3 years (as on 01.05.2013) relevant experience (excluding apprenticeship
training if any under Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973) in Oil Refining / Petroleum /
Petrochemical / Chemical / Fertilizer Industry.
Age Limit :-Maximum 30 years as on 01.05.2013. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST and 3 years for
OBC candidates.
Scale of Pay:-
a) Candidates will be placed in Grade. “7” with starting basic of ` 5,350/- p.m. (Gross
emoluments at the minimum of the scale will be Approx. ` 17,000/- p.m.) (Under
Revision)
b) Plus other benefits & allowances as applicable to Craftsman in Grade-7
